He was born and educated in Hong Kong. He received his further education from Regional Language Center, Singapore, and University of Cambridge, the United Kingdom.
He is a researcher with books and websites on health and healing, as well as the art of living well.
His interests also include art and antiques: he paints and collects Chinese antiques.
